Its the little things that make my day,
Ending it off with a smile.
And a trail of love left behind,
That never found it's end.

Especially when I feel small.
So that I could go on just a bit more,
Till I reach the end point in triumph.
Then I'll look back and realise,
It's the little that make me big.
Big enough to stop feeling weak,
Big so I could overcome the Bigger.

Guess it doesnt make alot of sense huh. Haha!

But I really thank the people that do little things to encourage me.
They may mean little to you but alot to me!
Things that warm my heart and give me just that needed push to go on with the day.

Like when Adeline saw me in class on friday, for science supplementary.
I was barely awake haha, trying my very best to hang on till the end of lesson.
Then Adeline walked by our class and I was leaning onto the windows.
She looked in and said, "Jia you, Gracia!"
I was shocked. But it really did help. haha, I could only look back at her and smile.
Thank you Adeline!

Though I don't really know Iris.
But she encouraged me through facebook.
Not a very special encouragement. But at least in the midst of people doubting my studying cum chilling weekend. HAHA.
Yeah really gonna study hard, I will! then it's playtime for the next few months! yay!

today was a really good day.
Haven't felt so relaxed in a veryveryvery long while.
Especially in studying.
Today aft cg, plan was to go Central @ clarke Quay to celebrate mid-autumn festival.
But parents were still at someone's house so i went to Marine Parade Library to study first.
The walk up to mrt was super hilarious with Jason and I singing like nobody's business.
I want that playground outing so badly ):
haha.

So i took a bus there and settled down at a table with this guy who looks super familiar haa.
Very rare to find a table y'know! haha. I was so glad.
Sat down and stared into space for bout 10mins!
Started revising bio.
Reproduction. then i felt i could go on and my studying momentum was seriously there! haha
so i went on to issues on sex. wah I felt super spongy- haha if you get what I mean.
Was absorbing everything!
Just nice my parents came to pick me and I finished the two chapters (:

was deciding where to go next, cos it was raining and prolly nobody was carrying lanterns ):
I was really sad. sad. sad. Couldnt carry my snoopy lantern ):
Decided to have steamboat but we weren't hungry.
So we went to try Everything With Fries.
Wheeeeeee i was so happy haha (:
Cos i saw it in 8 Days and it looks pretty cool!
It's only 1 month old, opened by boss of Awfully Chocolate.
Deco's really simple yet stylish! and everybody around's so young, what a great hangout!
haha. I shall bring people there soon (:
Food was not bad, haha. My sour cream and onion fries was interesting! cheeseburger was yummy too :D Mummy's egg soup was sooooo unique and cool! Daddy's curry fries were hmm abit weird but quite original la huh. haha
I think the people there are all food-lovers cos everybody was taking pics of their food lol!
I really enjoyed the lovely dinner there. What a great time spent with my daddy and mummy!
Especially great when you know you've studied 2 chaps of bio with much accomplishment :D

Svc tmr then back home! Hopefully can start on my geog.
oh mannnz. Actually I need to be calm when i study.
I realised that i study so much better today, when I wasn't all worried about it or what.
haha. not to late to realise huh!

Jon's birthday right aft exams. Always a great timing HAHA.

daddy's birthday next Friday! Uh oh.

argh wanted to study somemore but ah well. Shall just go read my books.

Haha been super long since I last blogged!
Keep wanting to blog, but a snowball effect happens and i become lazier and lazier to type more things haha!
okay short post cos im going to sleep soon.
I'm making it a point to sleep before 1230 everyday!

It's 20/09/2009! (:
Haha 2 of the coolest dates happen in the month of september alone!
(but ahem, nothing happen ah? haha!)

Well, these few weeks 've been tiring ):
studying for tests aft tests.
And when you don't do well for 1 test, the rest all seem equally lousy.
Discouraging.. but I guess now's not the time to get all disheartened bout tests or exams.
Totally not the time at all.. haha!
End of Year Exams 3 weeks away.
And paper 1's this Friday.
Really really really stressed ):
not good feeling when I dont feel prepared at all and this exams mean alot to me! D:
butbut i do enjoy studying haha.
Can't wait to take the exams and get back results! best part of everything haha.

Last Friday (Sept Hols) was a day to remember for me.
It was the day that I cried quite a bit in front of a few people, felt really sad and heartbroken.
Yet this certain warmth engulfed me. It's the things that I heard, the feelings that I sensed that really melted my heart and made me feel so loved.
I really enjoyed that day and wished for it never to end!

Friday's GB was the last meeting for Term 4!
Had a fun time of games!! BBGB games haha.
Wet/dirty games! lol.

REALLY productive time omg. aft i was totally saying how proud of myself I feel.
We completed all chem on that night! then we had a heartwarming supper of yakun then bus back home (:

Today's service was indescribable.
When Pastor said he's gna preach on Jonah, I was like wow.
Cos it's a book that I read during my quiet time not long.
First time reading the whole book and not just the cartoon version of how Jonah was swallowed by a fish haha!
Then, was wrestling with God.
Tears flowed, I believe it was the same for many across the hall.
I knelt down, cried my heart out.
God indeed is a loving father, redeeming all my imperfections.
Though all shall fail yet His love never will!
And the truth set me free (:

Sentosa- Rasa Sentosa Resort for Nathan's 2nd year old birthday!
Swimming was fun! haha.
the breeze was just soothing!
Went for an international buffet dinner.
Abit of a disappointment for 50bucks per pax and shangri-la standard.
Ohwell, i did enjoy oreo cheesecake :D

THEN WAS ARCADE omg it's been so long since I felt so crazy haha.
played daytona, bball, some oldschool fighting game and PARA PARA.
para para was the best WAS SOOOO FUN haha just keep jumping and laughing and its so hilarious when both my brother and I failed.
then we played again and luckily he got a D so we could continue.
The song "aye yae ya you're my little butterfly" is soooo classic haha!
oh mannn it was such a fun time!
really enjoyed it with my brothers! and its so cool to see both of them playing time crisis.
"careful the man will jump out from the sea" its like reliving those days. haha

Nathan's soo cute.
can't wait for him to grow just that bit older!
3-4's the most fun time! haha.
and he's 2 oh man, time flies. haha.

Super enjoyed myself today quality time spent with family!
and i ate buffet until my mouth aching, stomach gna explode.
did not help when I act smart/healthy, came home and ate watermelons. further bloating my stomach haha!

Intensive studying tmr!
Yay! study study no tv. Just lunch/dinner then MING ZHONG ZHU DING WO AI NI @ 10pm!!! So excited to watch tmr's haha.

World's Best Dad

Ever since I simply told my dad that "Magnolia Fresh Milk is nicer", he stopped buying HL milk and switched to Fresh Milk, and buys them at 2-3 cartons a week, even though it's alot more expensive.

Last week, my Dad cooked Pig's stomach soup for my bro and I. bcos i complained that, "You all always leave me alone at home!"
So he wanted us to stay at home and have a home-cooked meal.
then when he came back i commented, "Daddy your soup is the best! but today so little! we drank half a pot and left some for you and mummy... chicken so small, pig stomach also so little! DaGe also never get to eat."

Yesterday aft Training Camp, in the car, my dad told me that he specially cooked another pot for all of us, since my eldest bro is coming for dinner. he even said, "I put in a whole chicken and 1.5 pig's stomach as compared to last time's half chicken and 1 small stomach since you say not enough..."
I was so touched, right aft camp (: My dad knew i was tired and all, so he specially bought my fav fish-Pomfret, and my fav fishcake from white sands..

Today aft clearing my table that was piled up high, i found a photocopied chinese newspaper article about VJC on my table with a note,

He can't bring me to hand in my VJC form cos he's taking extra classes tomorrow so that we "can have more money for your shopping in Taiwan".

Last Friday was the last day of Term3.
Gawsh, time really flies.
Still rmb starting out term 3 with chionging of BOF.
With parents scolding me that I'm wasting 25hours and that my results are alr going down ):
But really, really wanna thank God that my termly report didnt come out too bad!
Although I did drop by a few positions, but i'm really quite surprised by my results.
But really gotta work harder for Bio ): seems like what I'm putting in doesnt show as much as the other subs ):

Sat was Pulau Ubin!
haha OH MAN IT WAS REALLY TIRING!
the first 30mins of the journey i was panting alr.
But it was a really wonderful experience!
With my first time in Pulau Ubin and cycling on rocky grounds and stuff..
Hope Zoey's injury recovers fast!! :D
It was a good time spent with N377 and moses!
I was with him the whole day! he came over to my house and was with my parents till 11pm.. cos he had no keys LOL! but it's always fun when he's around (:

Sunday was Aston's! yummy I love my fishhhhh
my dad's pig stomach soup was awesome! haha.
And i fell so my left foot was pain ): was quite worried cos training camp was up and learning journey was the next day.
Prayed that I will recover!

Didnt go for learning journey on Monday ):
Was quite disappointed, stupid left foot ):
But stayed at home to rest! Was really hoping that it'd be all okay by tues' trng camp.
ANDAND my daddy booked our air tickets to TAIWAN alr!!
IM SUPER DUPER EXCITED!
my first long holiday and to TAIWAN! somewhere I've always wanted to go aft watching so many taiwanese shows.. heh.
We'll be sitting SQ! whee so shiok!
Going from Dec 2 - Dec 8! 7 days!
Daddy's planning the itinerary so no tour! awesome daddy haha.

TUES TRAINING CAMP 2009!
my foot wasnt all well but so much better!
this year's was really more hiong ):
tues alone we had 2 PTs and 2 Drills.
Actually it was quite bearable.
Until it came to tent pitching when it was demoralisingand everybody was just );
lights out at 930 but only slept abit from 12plus.
Hannah and I were sitting up talking in the tent.
IT WAS SO STUFFY and uncomfortable!
but i guess once you're truly tired, you'll sleep no matter what!

Morning raid at 3am.
It was quite okay cos we all subconsciously knew what was gna happen.
Striked tent and went to prepare for morning hike.
Wah. Morning hike really was a test for me.
I so much wanted to give up if not for my group's encouragement.
Esp the sec 2s, Lynnette, Hannah ( MY POK IS ALWAYS WITH ME HEHHEHE) and Kendra.
I'm so thankful for my group! (: Sec 1s were very co-operative too!! :D
hike was from 3.40am-640am but we were late by 1hr. walked from AHS -> CHAICHEE -> OPERA ESTATE -> AHS, supposed to go Katong but no time.
I dont like Opera Estate!! it's super hard to walk cos it's so confusing and there was this veryveryvery steep slope when we walked down, and when we were wrong, we had to walk up. Everybody was just -.-
It seemed like a different Opera Estate we went last year for Trng Camp lol.
So we were walking for almost 4 hrs, only reaching sch at 750am ):
I couldnt even sit properly by then.

Everything else aft hike was just tiring.
Cos our legs were breaking alr.
but still, hang on!
had 1 last PT and Drill then badgework (was half asleep) and games!
haha water games was what everyone was looking forward too :D
It was fun!! heh. and the Sec4s came back!!!! :D
Germaine, Pearlyna and Jaycelyn. jaycelyn was my sec 3 for last year's trng camp and I missed her! she was like a mother to us, made me hang on and not give up! haha.

Vesper then was debrief.
Abit pissed during debrief but haha.
then was cake time!
Only way of ending any camp.... ! :D
the cake was yummeh! with ice pops too heh.
FINALLY, BREAK CAMP!
the sense of accomplishment once again overwhelmed me.
I'm shocked, I MADE IT! yes woohoo.
haha. super elated, no words can describe!
haha.

Lynnette almost made me cry... ):
"I beg you please don't go.." :'(

Daddy picked me up oh yay!
went home and every step was painful was aching muscles lol.
I took very long to bathe and brush, very long to eat.
Didnt bathe or brush the whole camp haha!
And was about to sleep towards the end of my meal hah.
SI yesterday wasnt great. Didnt stay up to watch the results, slept at 10pm.
Preferred last week's batch so much more!

It's thursday alr.
term 4's starting on Monday.
Quite afraid actually. Really need to do well for my EOYs, really.
and i haven completed any of my hw ):

Later going to ws for lunch! HOPEFULLY CAN EAT SOME JUNKFOOD!
so deprived of it LOL!
And borrow books! (:

Whenever I felt down and out, i kept singing, "I lift my eyes up to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of the Heavens and Earth."
And it really helps alot, the Lord will just calm me down and refresh me!
I sang that alot esp during PT when running arnd parade square, sang that and lifted my eyes to the skies (:
and always, "Our faith has overcome.."
Praise the Lord!! :D

Breaking through tougher grounds.

Training Camp 2009 IS OVER!
and I successfully survived it.
Though i did fall out a few times D: but still.... YES! YES! YES!!
Super happpy.
The kind of accomplishment is indescribable.
What an experience!

09 camp was tougher than 08 camp..
But well I love my 09 group so much! (:

I feel very excited seeing all my 3 sciences- Chemistry, Biology and Physics OLevel textbooks on my shelf. The textbooks are so interesting!!
And having Geog Sec 3&4 textbooks too! though i don't rlly like geog but reading thru the stuff inside is quite fun haha.
Okay random thought lol! so excited to learn more about the 3 sciences!

I've been super siann these few days.

Yesterday was out walking with mom @ orchard. ION, Centrepoint, Central, Heeren..

Went over to Heeren to wait for my cgl.
I really enjoy sitting down @ any cafe/macs and just read this really funny book with earphones plugged in! It's really good time!

Was super excited for school tdy supposedly getting back sci test butttt. Rawr. didnt and chem was seriously cmi. Trigo was -.- and I just slept in class lol.

Yesterday was spent walking there whole of NATAS fair.
BUT IT WAS SUPER FUN! haha
Listening to all the people talk abt the itinerary. Wahhh so exciting!
And if nothing fails, I'll be going TAIWAN @ the end of the year!
Wheeee. altho haven book yet but my dad say will do! (pleasepleaseplease)
most prolly going the 7days kind! go whole of taiwan. Wahhhhhhhhhh. Fun can? HAHA

Today morning I was irritating Shijie LOL!
i kept asking her what tee, bottom or shoes to wear LOL when it was 7am and sch starts at 7.25!
thank God I wasnt late haha.
Concert was okay la abit sian. but the Nobody, nobody but you! was FUNNY. haha
Rushed to give our presents. Yay (: it's really very fun. When everybody is crowding around the office, then finally aft abt 20mins, everybody just filled the staff room LOL.

It's finally friday tmr, yay!
Please Lord, I pray that my Geog test will go smoothly and that I'll be able to score well!
've been following kendra's method, walking around the room saying out loud the points like a speech-.- for 2 chapters, really hope it'll be good!

Pretty discouraged as my termly report's marks slowly gather back and conclude that my term 3 hasn't been well at all.
My bio barely got 80 and that's actually the one that I'm most upset over. Science, supposedly my best sub Sighzz ):
And everything really doesn't seem nice at all. Oh mannn. Seems like how I cried over my Term1 Report again. I don't like odd terms ):

Then EOYs!
Just got to know today that our chinese EOY exam is 10chaps with 40chengyus and 20 yanyus.
Oh mannn. stress stress stress.
Bio + Chem's gna be worse and geog oh noooz.

This week has been tiring!
Like ultimate siannnzzz when I get to school hahaha.
Wasn't really looking forward cos there's tests and all, busy week.
But i guess we're halfway there now! haha.

Today I was very irritating Lol.
Okay, I've been getting scolded quite a bit recently which is so not me HAHA.
today was playing tic tac toe with jieying on a piece of masking tape and kept talking and not listening in Bio, i think i was the only one doing that Lol. Ms Kor just came and asked me, "Gracia, what is wrong with you today?" Lol
And the librarian hates me, seriously Lol.
She only scolds me! And my overdue book of 3 weeks-.- haha.

But school has been made easier and lighter with all the nonsense crap stuff my classmates and I do daily Lol! Esp Lydia, just nonsense only all the way LOL.
Gr8 that this week is passing fast.
And gawsh, it's Sept next week O:
Month of many birthdays haha!

This weekend's gna be exciting! Hope my feelings don't take on a rollar coaster ride.

Wooh haha No lessons for 2 days, good or what!

Then it's Sept hols. Packed again, learning Journey on mon, camp from tues to wed.
Then I'm seriously officially starting EOY mugging. I hafta! D:
Okay the stress is sinking in slowly but steadily!

Not many of us but i felt it was quality fellowship for wenxi and I!

Walked around East Point and she blessed me with a pair of ear pieces since there's a Buy1Get1 promo and she says its super cheap yay we got matching pink ear pieces :D

Totally felt so lost when I didnt go cg and svc last week.. haha.

Supposed to meet Darreng at 1230 at isaac's house.
But was late and yadayada in the end met jasonwong at pasir ris to get pudding milk teas (hoho super feels like last time!) then went to meet darren, treating him to make it up to him! oops, sorry Darren! haha.
buying pudding milk tea with jason feels good! haha, eh more fellowship over pudding milk tea, please, LOL

before meeting darren, jason told me something that really made me cry on the spot.
(to me, this kinda stuff dont usually happen, really!)
Seriously, jason couldnt believe I was crying.
Made me so heavy-hearted! ): I really hope a miracle will happen, or at least, I'll learn to accept it.. ): But ah wellxzs, grr.

walking to isaac's house was fun! So i did have my entourage in the end, darrenG jason and I haha not bad not bad but we were late oops. haha heard darrenG said that walking to isaac's house was so fun and he'd do it again heh. i think its the company! jason totally made us laugh! really like going down memory lane! Been super long since I last walked to isaac's house with mbrs, always walking alone early or what haha.

At first we were abit distracted.
But then when I started reading my Olvl bio book then we both got very serious and i think it was pretty solid studying! I studied until quite shuang cos i really felt like a sponge absorbing it all. and surprisingly, jason rmbed his bio stuff and tutored me abit! to think i looked down on him when he said he could help tutor me. Lol, Really helped alot, thanks dude! we tried to experiment the semi-lunar valve in veins sort of experiment on my hand.
I was just laughing like crap and it was pain haha. jason tried and he was frustrated and tired Lol. hilarious man. and he's abusive. he just drew a whole red line on my right hand-.-
and he keeps pulling out my hair cos he insists its a wig since he thinks my hair doesnt grow at all.
thanks shawn for reminding the rest that my hair looks the same all the while HAHA.
and i was still thinking that I'd go cg today getting praised for my hair's length haha.

Studied awhile then the last 45mins we got abit distracted haha.
He was being a loser by insisting he doesnt wanna walk with me so he's gonna sit down and meditate for 5mins before leaving. LOL.
took a bus with him for a stupid 1 stop and he went for his chalet thing dropping 2 stops earlier LOL.
Went bedok inter and walkwalk to find dinner but i didnt find something i like so i took 17 home.
was smsing all the way home to various people.
Shirley Ong Poh Mei totally made my day, really! Its so sweet to know that she smsed me immediately aft she read my blog knowing bout my H1N1 and all, asking me how am I and having a pretty long sms chat with me (:
I'm so gna meet up with her along with jason and wenxi! chill out session's gonna be quality time spent :D

WOOH today's a good day! Haha.
I think cos I thought alot yesterday, LOL.

I still rmb last year Pastor got a SWORD! hahaa and it was on a saturday so the saturday people 赚到！ Lol

Today was Back @ School #2 haha.
Yesterday was fun cos I was back at school and Idk why but i felt like a transfer student, like my first day at ahs. Lol!
but yay I was welcomed by people and all (:

Geog was hilarious seriously cos my UK cher is super cute HAHA.
We have smart boards in school then she kept banging it, with the UK accent and went, "Oh, come on!" when the thing couldnt work, haha! super LOL
then we were stuck at ebook pg for awhile until the recess bell rang and everybody left haha!

Then chinese was okay cos seriously first time in a long while since I last felt so awake during lessons and really wanted to learn LOL.
must be the sardine and celery during recess, I'm so proud of my new efforts for healthy living.
Either the machine spoil or I'm really happy with my weight LOL.

Finished chinese then Malay.
Malay was talking abt films and movies so quite cool haha. but i was chionging my chinese so i kept thinking cikgu's looking @ me haha.
And I can't go for the Cancer Run on sunday ): My MC's till 26th, sian might have make up CIP! i hope not, maybe I can use GB35 camp the 45hrs to make up!

starting fun! haha cos adeline and I went for our first official LOG prac, helped so set up.

Today's day #4 at home.
I'm bored.
I just kept walking arnd in the house.
Lol.

I couldnt get out of the house for Cg or svc tmr ):
but i guess the cg wouldnt want me either. LOL, in case I spread the virus to them.
I was so persistent in going today actl, that I called my brother to ask. haha.
but he said no. Ask me to be a good girl and stay at home then i started whining and crying.
Sulked for awhile.
Then went off to watch tv and laughed it all off haha.

I've been watching alot of tv these days man.
Feels like a complete waste of time but argh wtv! haha.
kept telling myself to self-study.
Yet the other half of me kept giving in to excuses like, "No its okay you shld rest."
Lol so in the end didnt study at all!

I'M OKAY! really.
haha I feel super normal.
Like super well alr!
Really thank God!!
Cos the Doc said to me on thurs, "Expect this headache, bodyache and fever to go on for abt 3-4 days, by sunday you should be okay. Or maybe even by Saturday, if your body is strong!"
I was like, "Nooooooooooooooooo, no more headache and fever please!"
I went back home and felt worse ): then my brother came to see me. He gave me assurance, that I was gna be okay, haha so it made everything better!
cos i was very afraid to sleep at night, thinking I'd be waking up in pain and sweating and all. haha.
I love my brother! (:

And I didn't take tami-flu to speed up the healing process..
But wow, I was well by Friday! No more fever since thurs!
Really by prayers and believing the Lord will heal me!

Went school yesterday feeling wrong.
wasnt that sick yet, just felt really drowsy and gna-sick kinda feeling.
Figured that there wasnt much lessons (just health check and pe and all) so I called Daddy and he came.
Went straight to Doctor Tan's and the wait was unbearable.
I felt worse and waited for 1hr++
Doc says that I seem to have Influenza-Like-Illness (ILI) just that my temp isnt over 38 yet.
Need to moniter for 24hrs and if my condition deteriorates rapidly, it's 90% H1N1.

When I went home, my bro and mom were asking me how did i get H1N1 (haha but its not confirmed la) and how come suddenly I'm all sick and stuff.
(I was discouraged cos I felt like Miss Healthy after my first time buying a box of fruits in school yesterday Lol and yet.. haha!)
Ate lunch and slept from 12-3 and woke up feeling much better!
Then was wooh, it must be normal flu.
Bathed, then read a few lines of Meg Cabot then went back to sleep again.
Wah then was getting worse.
Oh and Singapore Idol was so entertaining haha! so funny!
Watched America's Got Talent and went to sleep again.
So apart from school in the morning, I was barely awake for say, 6hrs? Lol.

Took very long to sleep.
1) hot.
2) alot of things were on my mind! Haven print contact card, AAR, overall proposals.. blah.

woke up at 2am and temp was 38.6, figured I'd off the aircon since i was shivering.
woke up again at 4am, temp was 39.2, dk what to do with such a high temp and my headaches were killing me, woke my mom up.
she sponged me, changed me into cooler clothings then I vomitted.
Finally managed to sleep after I felt cooler and ate my medicine.
Kept rolling in bed cos was feeling veryvery awful.
Kept praying, msged jon too then went back to sleep, finally.
Never felt so sick in my whole life before ):

woke up this morning 10plus feeling much better :D
i think its the medicine, like without it, my temp rises like dk what.
Hopefully when I go back to the doc's later in the aftnn, i wont get the wtv ILI and 1week mc.
There are alot of tests coming up! And i'm so lagging behind alr ): ): ):
Really hate being sick.
I pray that I can go back to school tmr!! or at least on monday.
Lord, heal me!!

Today's 090809, Singapore's 44th National Day.
I love Singapore!
haha.

I'm thankful i decided to wake up earlier and go for Morning PM.
Snoozed for 15mins (which is Wow alr!) and was late but still, i managed to buy a big pau, teh peng and sit at the bus stop and eat haha.
Brings back memories of last time I used to go there at 845am every sunday. I need to be more disciplined! O: haha.

Did not regret a single bit.
I felt like going on to pray longer!

When i heard the last 3 words. I just cried and cried, and real hard at that.
Can you imagine, The Creator of the Heaven and Earth, God Almighty, saying "I miss you"
I was simply drawn away.

A busy week has passed.

Been looking forward to this weekend!

But apart from pasting new powerpuff girls stickers into my since-kindergarten sticker book, i found alot of cards. From andrew, my bezfriend always.. From my brother, dasao when I was barely 8, just getting 1st in class in pri 1.. From my family when I was say, 6? From my dad, the book and bible verses that held my tears always when I was transiting to Primary school, crying for 2 months.. And I starting tearing.

Cldnt believe it but when I read my dad's handwritten verse, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I cried. Strength, the Lord assured. he wrote,
"Gracia, remember to pray and read those bible verses. God's words have power, they will strengthen and encourage you. Just believe in them, and they will bless you! You're never lonely for God is always with you! God loves you and we love you too! (Dad) "

Andrew wrote, "G- God-fearing. R-Responsible. A-Always there for others. C-Classy/Caring. I-Insane laughter. A-A person I admire =)" Really brought a smile to my face :D

I think the insane laughter part is something in me that makes ppl rmb me, seriously LOL.
My classmate once said to me, "There are only two people in class that makes the whole class laugh along, you and Hannah." LOL.
and can you believe that my friends all think i'm nonsense enough to shout, "GOOD JOB!" to GuangJun who was shouting out class duties. WHEN IT WAS ACTL DR.BOON OUTSIDE THE CLASS. when she shouted that, EVERYBODY LOOKED AT ME.

Been thinking alot these few days, after knowing what may take place soon.

GB 35 Camp

Just a few days ago, I was thinking of GB 35 Camp..
How blessed I was to be part of it.

What really touched my heart was like in Children's Church, young as they may be, we can very well be ashamed of how we praise and worship God when we see them jumping around, lifting their hands up.
Especially during songs where there are actions, regardless of how paiseh it seems everytime somebody asks us to do actions, we just did it.
And I tell you I enjoyed myself very much.
One of those times I really enjoyed praising God!
you know how cool the songs are?
I remember one song and the actions are ultra fun.

"We are living in a high speed world today.
3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth lead the way.
It's a breeze to keep in touch with friends.
We should do the same with God.

You need to Skype with Him,
you need to Google Him.
You need to stay online with Him.
He longs to hear you pray,
Both night and everyday.

Cool and hip song right! haha.

And esp on the last day, Auntie Michelle prayed for everyone, event the mentors.
"Just start to thank God for what you have, how long have you not done so?"
And tears filled my eyes. How long have I not sincerely thanked God for everything?
Family, Church, Cg, Friends, School...
And the girls went up thanking, "Thank You God for my family, my school, my mummy who cooks for me, my daddy who works outside, my teachers in school, my friends.."
And the list went on..

What I'm most impacted of is that, Auntie Michelle, Auntie Ruth and all the officers.
Not one of them belittled the young girls.
Really told of the Verse, "Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young.."
Because the things that we did were so spiritual..
There were papers given out for those who had a picture, a Word to write them down.
And even though just maybe two or three gave their hearts to Jesus in this camp, but it is those 2 or 3 that keeps Auntie Michelle volunteering every year, camp after camp, even though she has left our company. I really admire her.

The girls in my group were just so lovable!
I even had a small P3 girl who invited me to her sleepover.. haha.
How cute! When Ms Ong gave them a pack of sweets, they thought of Royston and I and even used the bookmark inside to sign on it and give me.. (:
Did I say how gentle Ms Ong was? Possibly one of the most gentle teacher I've ever come across! The fact that she's Olivia Ong's sister was just cool!

I was really blessed by Miss Law.
She gave me a card on the last day..
A handwritten card for me with a whisper, "I didnt give it to anyone else!"
I teared when I read it.
She saw me growing in the Lord, walking intimately with Him.
It was during one of the GB sessions with Ms Law that I first heard God speaking to me.
First teared when I worshipped Him, first felt Him comforting me during the stressful periods..
I'll always remember how i once said to her in pri 5.
"Ms Law, when I grow up, I want to be like you."
That was about 4 years ago?
And it still stands. Replying to me, "You will be who God wants you to be.. (:"
Her card spoke deep into me.. First time ever a teacher made herself so available to me..
"When you need, just give me a call yeah?" Wow.
I really thank God for my GB teacher in my pri sch days.
Molding me, teaching me..
Thank God for Ms Law in my life.. (:

Term 3 of Secondary 2 life is starting tmr.
Well, i'm excited! more or less ready for it.
But I guess i'm pretty afraid.
Cos 2nd half of the year has all the subjects that I dont enjoy and dont excel well in.
Hmm, i shall make it like my history! Putting my heart into it!
haha.

Holidays' have been great.
Quite accomplished since the beginning!
Camps and all, just fantastic! yeah!
Thank God for His blessing upon me throughout this ultra long hols, feels like nov hols lol.
Made really gr8 friends like yunting (L) and got to know so many other zone people that I used to know their faces only.

So, tmr shall be the start of something new!
I could feel it in my spirit during 365pm the other day..
haha. oh and tmr's gna be like super troublesome cos side gates are closed. think we have to take temp before going in -.-

Today (or ytdy) WAS SUPER COOLLLLL!
Went to watch AYG BBALL 3-on-3 haha.
It was a new experience and like mini olympics lol.
Fun sitting next to lydia and guang jun!!
lol funniest part was when Korea vs Qatar.
Cos language crash, the only words the coaches knew was when they were angry with the referee.
Korea: MY BALL MY BALL.
Qatar: WHAT?!

Lol super funny! i was telling everyone i met today this part haha!
but was really awesome when Singapore won UZB lol. cool players man from korea and spore! :D

Today was a really great day.
A day when i feel refreshed spiritually.
Really.
From prayer meeting when we were on our knees in the darkness.
To me it was as though this is the kind of situation we must be in.
When we are in the darkness, not knowing where to go, what to do.
But just kneel before the Lord, cry out to Him, draw near to Him, soak in His presence.

Then in SOS.
Mature love.
To me, what impacted me the most was the part about the progression of My Beloved.
"As long as the MY is there, you are not a mature believer."
How many many times have I always wanted God to meet my needs, do what I want to see done.
It's about the, "I am my Beloved's" no matter what.

This BS really stirs up the hunger and thirst in me.
To desire more, seek more.
And the last part was just wow.
As the whole church, 8000 knelt down in expo hall 1, crying out to God.
That whole atmosphere was just awesome.

I've successfully accomplished ALL 3 CAMPS!
And all 3 camps were Christian Camps.
How awesome is that?

GB35 CAMP & INSPIRE-FAITH CAMP were just GR8 GR8 GR8!

For inspire camp that ended today, I really didnt wanna go home!! ):
hahaa.
I cant believe its over! feels like only 3hours lol!

to me, inspire-faith was a challenge for me.
My body was really maxed out aft GB35 camp alr..
Sleeping barely 10hours the whole 3D2N

Then for inspire, i slept barely 5hours for the whole 3D2N
It was like O:

Really thank God that through it all, the joy of the Lord was my strength!

I shall elaborate on both camps in msia where theres wireless!
Going Malaysia from 11th-15th of June!
gonna chiong hw there, have to! lol.

Well... Today was sweet victory for Abraham! Haha

Happy that I can go back shps to help.

CORPORAL'S TRAINING CAMP (CTC 2009) IS OVERRRR!!
omg you know how happy i was @ break camp ytdy?! haha.
totally screamed and ate sweets and twisties LOL.
first thing i did when i came back, ate kitkat. haha!

So yeah overall, wasnt as slack as the seniors made it to be.
but activities werent hiong also la, just the inspection-.-
and all the sessions made the whole camp rlly sian yup.
the last night was really a test for me.
We had inspections 5times over and over again for toilet.
and by the time we ended, the other camp girls were alr preparing to wash up and sleep.
While we had to proceed down for supper and debrief.
When ms chiam said, "Girls, go down to the canteen now, I really need to talk to you guys."
I was just. cmi.
really. While she talked to us, i cried. because it was really mentally challenging. It was really discouraging and its one the times i felt really really down and just cldnt take it.
First time i cried in camp not bcos of homesick, but because of our group's performance.
Even Ms Chang the camp commandant said we were the most problematic group.
it made everything worse when we still had to clear punishments.
Cleaned canteen till 2am.
the night i slept so heavy hearted.
really prayed hard in my sleepingbag..
Woke up at 5+am, felt like a zombie. Lol.
but finally, day to go home!

Well all in all, wont say much.
but still, didnt regret going la.
got to kknow other girls, esp my group's tasmin (@bangbangurheart.lj.com) and shannon (:

Really thank God for xuanqi in my group (: We supported each other thruout the camp and wldnt have made it thru without her! Love you! :D
And seriously, i love ms chiam! and ms chong!!

Bonded with our own coy, 65th! thruout the camp! encouraged one another when we saw here and there.. 2nd night was the ultimate! margJie and ybjie! love them alot :D

Aft talking to glenn ytdy, i feel so much more hyped for thurs' camp.
initially thought of backing out cos im really exhausted and still have so many things @ home to do..
but i gave my word and all.. and they really need help. Yeah, dad was telling me i shld return to help since i enjoyed my days there. definitely wont be hiong and tiring as compared to my sec sch's gb camps! auntie michelle said we need to encourage the young girls if they cry cos homesick or what. FEELS SO MUCH LIKE ME LAST TIME! haha i can share my experience lol!

kk tdy im still not out of camp mood yet. was like, huh huh.
haha and before i can get back to normal mood, off to camp mood again.
seriously during the whole camp, what pulled me through partly was thinking abt inspire.
told jon ytdy that i smile during inspections cos i kept thinking of inspire.
jon said im sick cos later the officers think im sadistic and enjoy inspections lol!
Of course what really kept me through was strength from God.
During devotions, i felt God's love so real.. it's been so long since i last felt like this. Teared and all.. Thank You, sweet Jesus (:

Lord, grant me strength! Like how every night of the camp, i prayed long to You in my sleeping bag..

Back on 1June 1pm! When I'm back, need to settle Abraham stuff, cheers, shield..
I'm ATL of Team 4! Along with Kitmeng, yay! we were both from Jephthah last year heh.

Got lots to do when I'm back ):
Revise for Math Olympiad Competition on 2June, start intensive reading of books, finish math ws, do heymath benchmarking..
On 2June, go for MO comp, meet up with classmates for Science Proj, discuss Eng proj!
Thurs 4June back for SHPS GB Camp (Wooh I'm clearing 2 segments of my NYAA in one week! :P)
6June back! Finish cheers for Abraham, continue with hw..
8June off to Inspire-Faith!
10June back, make sure all I/Cs of GB fortnight send back proposals to hannah and I.
Edit, do up overall proposal, send back to huiwen.
13June, off to Batu Pahat, Malacca then Desaru.
Back on 16June.

I'm very sure my hols will be over in a blink of an eye. haha.

Oh and Churchwide BS was great just now, really.
I felt refreshed.
And within those few lines in Song Of Solomon, there was just so much to be learnt!

Super tiring day tdy no idea why.
And while i was walking to tanah merah i so felt like going to dream it on lol.
But decided to go tmr anw hmm. Heard its cool heh.

Fun day sitting arnd with the guys.
weitai and i were just suaning each other and all (LOL) very fun.
zhenyu kept asking me to go bowling, haha?
pinhao was so nice to show me his videos and kept chatting with me bout city harvest and church. (really hope zhenyu and chawit will attend hog! zhenyu seems quite keen hm. but pinhao has PO): )
joel was lonely so he came and talk to me -.- haha.

Keep thinking abt all the camps.
Oh God i really pray that I'll pull through everything!

1 year of training must not not not go to waste.

nervous and worried cos even though how slack the sec3s now tell us, it might be changed drastically since last year was the first year it was held.

Camps

It's a sunday aftnn and I'm lazing arnd @ home..
Parents are out at COOS and i was lazy to train all the way down to queenstown aft lunch @ 18chefs with cg.

Today morning was indeed and eye opener for me.
From the mosque part.. till altar call.
Pastor Derek called for the cgls and cgcs to come forward and help pray for the many hundreds that came forward for bitterness, anger or any other things that they want to be set free from.
Mike Connell was really awesome wow.
Jason and I went forward and we were quite lost at what to do.
So helped here and there.
Then settled in the middle.
So i was carrying the tissue box and plastic bags.
To me, it was really the first time helping out and really be there to witness a face-to-face deliverance and to help. Second time seeing deliverance. though wasnt my first, i admit i was initially quite scared and i was on the verge of tears. haha.

Last time when i saw from metres away, in singapore indoor stadium i was alr very scared. and now right in front of me. But stepped out to help in the end, comforted a sister, offered tissue here and there, prayed in tongues, laid hands,held a plastic bag when people vomitted.. and first time i really saw how a person would behave. Like really violent and jason said he was so strong he couldnt even hold down the guy's ankles.
Was really an experience.
Wow.

The presence of God was really strong in the midst.
the atmosphere was filled with love, healing and comfort.
And relief.
Praise God! (:

This week's been quite down down kinda week.
haha.
Though to me, results were really good and I'm so proud of myself for all the hardwork mugging and studying! Hm, it really does pay off, such an accomplished feeling (: Like what Eunice told me last year, you reap what you sow! 2 Thess 3:10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: if a man does not work hard, he shall not eat.

But for chinese... Guess i really have to work hard.
Kinda left out my langs while studying thats why i disappointed my parents for langs.
And even Mrs Koh told me I could have gotten A1 for english.
Oh well ):
Chinese is my first B4 for sec sch grah.

Have been on medication for the whole of this week.
making me really really lethargic and super out of mood.
People around me started asking me why I looked so tired and not the norm.
I really hate to take the medicine. It's alot and doctor says I must complete it.
Dont get well by next week i have to go back and take an Xray );

She was so proud of her answers, along with her friends, to the question during her interview on current affairs, "Who is Indonesia's current president?" And seeing the only familiar name, "Suharto." She chose that.
Only to find out when she was with her dad that Suharto passed away alr.

When John just came in, he sat beside jocelyn who was beside Limin.
Jocelyn was alr explaining games halfway.

Yesterday marked the end of exams!
Left like, 5 more official exams in AHS? haha
But exams over means results gna be out.

Aft exam went subway to have brunch with parents.
bought a pair of sandals whee!
then back home to slack.
played restaurant city for four hours wow.

then out for dinner and cg.

Cg was great. As usual by Cindy!
Word was just awesome.
Something was stirring inside me, i could definitely sense it.
then when it was ministry it was just let out.
Word was abt Building a Life of Faith, so practical!

History was horrible.

When I reached the Source Based questions on inference of cartoons, i totally blanked out.

Was biting my nails. staring into blank space. not because I couldnt do it, but everything just appeared blank to me. nothing flowed.

Started to panic when it was 9am and realised I still have section D left which is 45 marks/100! like almost half of the paper yet i was barely left with half an hour to do it.

Then i panicked like dont know what @ 930am when i finally finished my SBQs.

Seriously i was just shaking and all. I was thinking Oh God Oh God how am i supposed to finish!!

4,5,6 marks questions were like writing a summary.
And when you know you are nervous and panicking, its not good cos that will only make you blank out and lose memory of more stuff.

True enough i knew how to do them but i just couldnt remember.

Took barely 5min for each questions for 9 of them.

Which is horrible bad srsly. I just vaguely explained to finish off while they said explain in DETAIL.

Oh man oh man.

I was telling myself, "Focus focus focus." But nope, didnt help. writing like crazy.

Chinese was not better either. Compres were difficult. What China Immigrants, idk!

And what making a resort in your heart wahsian.

Esp the one abt the indian rojak geylang serai was just -.-

I can fail that part alr.

I hope i dont lose too much in the open ended questions.

Over dinner he asked me, "So how." I was like, "Nop, cannot make it. I'm so not confident of Moments. I understand, but i just am uncertain abt it."

He just told me, "Why keep saying you have no confidence. The more you say, the more you wont be able to do it. Actually you understand but you just keep saying you cant do it! Why!"

Then i was like. ya hor. haha. Its the kind of feeling, you know it, you understand but you're just uncertain!

so i just revised another time and thats it.

not gna study or do any more ques cos that wld only make me confused.

hm so im feeling quite positive now bout physics.

lol seems like nobody cares abt langs cos everybody was anxious abt history tdy( and grr, mr yeow walked past our class with this huggeeee smirk on his face aft the paper ahha) and abt physics tmr. just cnt be bothered with chinese and eng tmr.

I felt today's cg was close to heart.
There was a warm feeling between all of us regardless of the number of people present.

CG @ Chui Laam's place on MayDay was great.
Chui Laam's house holds one of the significant events or marks in my christian walk.
I'll always remember my experience on a tuesday night, my first CGC meeting right at the very same place with almost the same people.

It was cool to see the house more or less filled with GIRLS instead of the usual GUYS in N377. haha GIRL POWER!
And with Cindy leading, it was just awesome.

Sat classroom style and kinda had a feeling of Jesus teaching His disciples kinda thing haha.
and testimony time was different... in a way haha.

I like it how Cindy always gives us a moment or so to quieten our hearts.
then she says, "Receive" and God was in the midst of us, definitely.

it was just so wow. and he continued saying.

on normal svcs, the side (alpha and echo?) terraces arent filled, instead convered with black cloth.
but today every seat was filled. and chairs had to be added at the sides even.
it was just great.
now attendance is 27000! awesome, april attendance was 33000.

Today, on my way home from Marine Parade Library, I thought of many things.
I looked around a lot.

So many things to worry about, trouble over, be burden with.

He should be 80plus. But he doesnt seem oblivious to the world.
When he woke up in the bus, his eyes were observing people.
He may be old and all, but it showed so much life in one frail body.

Then this small boy barely reaching his father's hip, holding onto his father's hands so tightly while standing. It was such a heartwarming scene (:

You know all these small little things make up people's life.

Oh yes and i saw it on tv mobile.

Today was a mixed feelings day.

Well, these few days have been like that haha.

This week, not good not good lol.

But still thankful it's finally the weekends!

Havent been sleeping well idk why!
And it makes me damn pissed cos i really love sleeping lol.

Grrrrr. There's really just so many so many things running through my head.

I think the most ridiculous one was on wed night when i was just abt to really fall asleep,

a 谚语 just kept coming to my head, 路遥知马力，日久见人心。Thanks to Chinese test, but i think it's really like applicable to my current life. haha

Daddy gave me a "wake-up" call on thurs morn which caused me to be rlly late even tho i woke up early than norm for school. I think it really got me thinking why this why that which is not good not good becos it made me very disturbed Lol but grrr. change change. haha.

Oh and somehow i wished mr koh kinda took over for our sci lessons. cos physics now is wahhhh damn boring!! ): and when i told him abt the hongkong actor which i think he really looks like, he said it was like looking into a mirror when he searched it on internet lol. cool right. read somewhere that in the whole world, there are 3 other people who look veryvery similar to you. scary! lol.

And oh today!!

O: I never cried so much for two diff reasons before. and i cldnt believe i cried more than claudia or lynnette grr haha.

Tdy started out really sian yup. nothing to say. school's been like that for quite awhile. Like something's lost. Either or my mind would be off somewhere-.-

Praise and Worship was awesome i felt. was so much like CG! jumped alot and alll! Was rllly high. then devotion abt remembered. and the GAMES began!! I THINK IT WAS RLLY COOL like so fun la. the whole DJ thing and all. so 别开生面 (lol see this is what chi test does to me)!!

had games and all. was okay. highlight was JUDO!!! not as fun as last year's but there was definitely this atmosphere. all the screaming and all. and i'm forever playing with jaycelyn. how i pulled out her buttons and smacked her boobs lol damn funny. (but i wont get to play with her again!!): ) she's been like my only opponent ever since i played judo. haha tdy not that hiong. but still fun anw!

Easter

Easter was great, awesome, fantastic! (:
All the way from Good Friday till Easter Sunday.

Friday was out with my nephew! (:
Then at night there was just this sudden attack.
Was horrible and i kinda guessed why all these were happening just the night before I was bringing friends to service and all.
Really caught this bad flu and started having red eyes, couldnt breathe and all. I think i never had this before.
But just like what Clara and my Dad prayed for me, I kept saying, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper. By His stripes I'm healed."
But frankly i was really scared cos Sat was really a big day.
Serving for children's church @ jw then down for svc with new friends.

Thank God I managed to go down to JW early in the morning, meeting yanru with my swollen eyes and nose. Ugly like lol but i felt so much better. I think i was like haha, cos i slept at 12am breathing thru my mouth, woke up @ 6am breathing thru my nose and i was so happy i just clapped my hands and said, "Praise the Lord!" and went back to sleep haha.

Serving was again great! there's no greater joy than serving in the House of God. Especially with those cute little children (:
But this time did more logistics stuff like moving of chairs and all. Was quite interesting working with china/taiwanese SOT students. And the I/C thought we were from SOT too, so he debriefed us all the same haha.
the whole time with yan was so funny. esp the walk back to Pioneer Mrt aft eating @ KFC.
haha.

train down to Expo and walked arnd.
Changed clothes then went to Marketplace Fiesta to meet Cindy before going to queue.
Didnt manage to get good seats anyway. grrr haha, quite pissed. but it was great to see the hall being filled so quickly! and srsly there were so many so many people. haha.

met people and all my 6 friends!

it was an awesome svc. Despite me having a tiring day and all, i was really so awake during the whole thing (: and it was just so good to have my friends with me for svc!
Drama with the Cross part made me tear again year aft year. haha.
And then was Altar Call. Gawsh, the joy when I saw the hands lifted up arnd me was just so, so fantastic. I think i literally was so elated. haha went down.. i think my 3rd or 4th time going down the front.
Prayed and all. Thank God for the four of them that went down, and Zoey and her friend with Clara! Praise the Lord (:

Yup so walked arnd and i was so encouraged by all the friends' reactions and comments.

Although yesterday was really a shit day like suckiest day.

I could really sense that all the girls were really nervous and so were we!

I smsed Ms Law and 35th coy coming down for junior drill comp next week when i'll be serving in traffic control!!! excited, i wna go down during march hols to see them train!

aft getting down the bus, the drill comp people and spectators separated.

this began our long long hours of sitting down.

at the very beginning wah omg 2nd coy, their drill was power!

but it was soon OUR COY'S TURN!!!!

abit sad aft that when we saw our snrs cry in the tent.

really like can feel the heartache.

but as we saw the other coys, we slowly gained more and more faith.

hahahahha sat until 5pm plus and seeing everybody's drill, we were pretty sure that our coy would get gold!

in between from 8am-4plus pm was alot of eating, gossipping with hannah and weilin which was damn fun and learning from other coy's drill! sitting with adeline and kendra they all was very fun then down to talking with weilin and hannah, time passed super fast!! hahaha.

then RAINED grrr ): with lightning and all leh.

so the last coy suay cos they cannot perform their drill.

so we waited for the rain to stop and all the delay bla bla.

but we were all gathered in the shelter talking and laughing.

HILARIOUSLY FUNNY HAHAHHAHA ADELINE, WEILIN, LYNNETTE, SHIIJE, HANNAH, XUANQI, KENDRA AND EEVRYONE! HAHAHAH REALLY LAUGHED AND BONDED! :D aft that was very happy!!! :D

but we we had to go back before the results. which was -.- cos we waited so long!

the bus had this tense atmosphere! and going back without knowing how did our coy did was quite disappointing. but we still were sure minhui would call back announcing GOLD!

but they smsed and said they would only announce @ 18chefs were the drill comp people were going for dinner. and they said that they had the results alr but some people were crying alr.

AND DEBRA PEH WENT CRAZY SRS AHHAHAH.

SO DID PEARLYNA ZOEY THEY ALL

yes i think my blog is dying ):
haha. My internet was kinda spoilt during the weekends so havent touched the com in a few days. When I checked my mail in school, realised my facebook spammed my inbox with all the notifications about who commented on what photo with my tag. All the little miss/mr pics lol.
Been tagged as drama queen and church girl.
hm haha.

Sat was a good day! though i didnt study much.
haha. went out with glenn and found out many interesting stuff happening to her right now. and yup it was a good time! (: Happy belated birthday Glenn! :D

Went for cell and games showed that we didnt have unity ): hahaha
sabo-ing here and there. but good to play aft a long time!
I think prayer meeting was cool cos halfway there was like a power trip or smth and we were praying then suddenly black out for a few mins. somehow to me it felt like i needed to pray strnger. Hm, interesting feeling haha.

Jason went down with me to mp library!
and on the way there we just talked and talked haha.
jason has such a drama life! srsly lol. talked like we were the only two on the bus and there was this point of time we were shouting at each other cos i was scolding him dumb and he was trying to defend his point Lol. funny.

aft that i was so distracted cos i didnt have a table! and i cldnt work well.
so i just looked at jason and we started talking. lol

Horrible day ytdy.
But I thank God that as I prayed over my phone, telling God to help me change my situation abit, He made my phone work. Yes! (:

I think yesterday was one of those bad days one has in a while.
Sigh I was feeling really down! Like everything wasnt going in my way and all grrrr.
But I'm glad it's over la. haha.

Ytdy during Badgework, I really realised how vulnerable some hearts amongst us were. Deep down, maybe what they are saying dont link to what they are feeling.
I pray that my batch mates will find joy in their own strength (:

And ytdy Margjie told us the next two sats will be for drill comp.
Means I wont get to go for the Sentosa Raiders and CG the following week ):
But I'm excited about DrillComp. Reminded me of my junior DrillComp two years back haha. That nervousness, intensity and stomach-flipping experience. Just that this time, our Sec3&4 snrs will experience like 10times of it. How exciting! I'm happy we can go down to root for them!!
And the following week is traffic control duty for Drill Comp that margjie volunteered us for. I'm excited about that!! heh, idk why i always love these kinda duties. Marley and Me

I guess this is by far the only movie that made me cry.
It was like, instant tears rolling down.
And at the point of climax, the theatre which was barely half full, had audible sniffs here and there.

I wouldnt say this is the best movie with an engaging plot and all.
it's really long and not all exciting haha.
but it has this really simple love in it.
down-to-earth storyline that could happen and happened to many others.
What's diff was that Marley was a dog the owners called, "the worst dog ever"
so i guess it was a twist.

But when the oldest son's eyes were wet with tears.
I immediately cried.
It was that simple love and connection he shared with Marley as a child.
It was like losing a part of your life.
From that part i just cried and cried until the burial.
Esp the part John sat beside him, talked to him until he gave approval to the vet to let him die peacefully. And the phonecall John made to Jenny to tell him Marley's leaving was just so, ahhhhhhhh. haha.
Omg it was so heartwrenching to see Marley's eyes close in front of John.

I really like how John ended the movie.
"Dogs don't care whether you're rich or poor, smart or stupid, ugly or handsome. As long as you give them your heart, they'll give you theirs."

there were so many D: parts like.
When Marley ran off suddenly to the forest and didnt return when John called, the first son said, "My friend told me that when beagles are dying, they dont want to die at home."
and seeing the super hyperactive marley when young till old and could barely move...

My mom said if she knew Marley was gna die she wldnt have taken me to see it. she thought it was gna be a happy ending doggie show lol.
"Cos i know you can't bear to see a dog die."
Yeah seeing Marley die was the most painful haha. Cos i love animals! but at least it's natural la hor, not killed or what haha.
One of the most touching scene was Marley sitting beside John in an open field saying, "When you're ready (to die), let me know."
And of course, when Patrick the first son looked at the videos of Marley and started tearing.

It's a really touching movie of the connection between humans and dogs. The simple and pure love. I think animal lovers would feel so much for this.

the last week of feb has been as usual.
Apart from the fact it's pretty fast and yeah, quite unfortunate in some ways or another.
This week made me realised how frail things actually are when I thought they were strong.
Oh well, I enjoyed this week (:

I really think I enjoy collecting/buying books.
I bought Jodi Picoult's Keeping Faith yesterday and it made me really happy.
I was smiling all the way like a little girl who just got her sweets.
haha. The enthusiasm of reading the book was so much!
But pretty ouch since it's not very cheap and I just bought one last month.
I think the best presents for me are book vouchers. Like how my uncle gave me 100kinokuniya last year and i spent half of it on Narnia cos i thought Prince Caspian was really enthralling. Somehow, those kinda unrealistic movies are better to watch than to read. Hmmm. haha.

I slept so early ytdy. I mean, for a non-schooling day the next day.
I almost fell asleep while reading my book (Which is so rare!)
Omg the book has so many twists. Like this guy went for 11years of jail but in the end he's actl innocent, just guilty of manslaughter not murder.

But as usual, i woke up close to 12 today. it shall be my weekly luxury- to sleep 12hrs every sat. haha.

Cg was interesting.
Practical session. But was very dumb la.
Supposed to reach level 5-truthful open communication. But jason and I were debating which animal had teeth. and our nonsense 'truthful' communication:
Me: I need to confess. I dont really like you.
Jason: Oh dear, me too. I feel it's so interesting how much in common we have!

the guys were playing Wii and it was funny to see the boxing part haha.
the walk back Shawn made me laugh abt the seals thing lol to think he remembered. i didnt know it was so 'significant'. it went like, "the guy's from Wales." And i said, "The where's the guy from Seals?" lame right but yah haha. if you didnt know me... haha

bused to marine parade. bought dblcheeseburger before heading to the library.
there's something with this china guy.
I always see him when i'm there.
i shared table with him twice. saw him in the library twice. and even today when i was waiting for the lift he came out of the lift.
haha jason and his china accent, "Really meh!" lol.

i think i did one math ques and two eng question then my dad came to pick me up for dinner.
lol quite dumb la. but i still enjoyed my time. haha it's specially interesting when all's bright outside. and you're engaged in a book or busying solving an equation, and the next time you look up it's dark outside.
quite dumb but ya. hahahahah.

went bedok for dinner which was like a long journey.
back home! and i'm gna sleep early tdy. decided there's nothing much to study for english ct since its compre. hmmm. haha.
shall read finish my change of heart and start on a new book.
I'll be glad to lend if you wna read! It's quite a complicated book about Gnostic Gospel and all. alot on religion which i dont quite agree with 90% of whatever's written but good plot la hor. ahha.

i played Wii for the first time and it was quite an experience heh.
ate snacks till i almost puked on the way home.
dad picked me up for home to put my stuff then to marine parade library, my study cave lol.
while daddy and mummy went to Vivo.

hmm i studied almost 3hrs but felt like nothing, really. usually whenever you keep looking at the clock means time is passing really slowly. but just now it was really fast and i wished the library didnt close @ 9pm ): i enjoy studying there and meeting different table partners ( haha, the people i have to share the table with) and watching the traffic below fromt the glass windows really sets me thinking abt our fast paced world. hahaha so yeah it's really a place to sort out my thinkings haha. apart from studying.

even on wed aft MO i just sat there for 2hrs staring at people.
haha.

but i havent finished studying my chinese test ): which i really hope to do extremely well in!
so i shall go there againt tmr aft svc :D it's always a joy to study there cos i always leave there feeling accomplished and my mp3 becomes my companion there. haha.

went PP to have LJS dinner with parents haha they just sat there and watched me eat.
back home and i'm pretty beat. no idea why haha. i think just now during cell play too hiong alr. scream/laugh/shout too much ahha. and twister's tiring, not my type of game hmm haha.

svc tmr! (: ending off our r/s sermon.
and i think pst kong being on fb is very cool. his friend count jumps by few hundred- a thousand per day O: and he is on the fb news bar of adverts or whatever you call it haha.

i'm looking forward to week 8 of school! march break! even if it just meant slightly longer weekends its okay. haha cos i think i'd have cca or what. but it's stilla break! then term 2 fastfastfast MYEs O:

For Vday yesterday, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
It's those kind, you don't really have to do alot of fun stuff, like go out and play or do some realy exciting stuff.

Took 12 home. The whole ride was like 1h plus.
But it seemed really short! how i wish it was longer haha.
Jon talked abt gaming and all.
Wahhhh he's a pro gamer man, took part in comps before leh, dont play play haha.
really got to know alot of stuff and all.. interesting!

Tdy was Vday/friendship day celeration @ school.
haha.
I was kinda distracted during lessons before recess.
cos i kept thinking of roses delivery.
it's pretty fun!! haha. esp when you see the faces of the recipients. heh.
But i think i was very irritating.
I went to each class at least twice on the 4th floor sec3s. i went 3G a bazillion times lol.
but 3H's CSS rachel was very friendly! i asked her for the names and she went round the whole class helping me put the roses.

GB!
haha. we had our roses frm GB too! Pretty pink ones from vietnam :D
then as usual, took our Vday pics. yayyyyyy was so sweettt hahaa.
Last year we had sunflowers! this year roses! haha.
highlight of the day was gbhike trng.
we being sec 2s now led the sec1s in tent pitching.
haha i think we did pretty well for the first tent we pitched in ages. though the time limit was a long 6mins.
I hope the sec1s understood the diff techniques!
They need to understand the imptance of sense of urgency!
a sec 1 asked me to relax while i was like rushing to pitch the tent hahah how interesting lol.
"dont kanchiong, relax!" sam was like, "Cannot!" LOL.

omg the run back to parade square for vesper was dying-tiring.
Likeeeeee. never felt so hiong in a long long time haha.
like suddenly cmi liddat.
i hate the steps beside the ISH omg, steep like idk what.
overall i hate our school's steps. at any place in the school.
they are either too steep or super uneven.
grrr haha. super hard to run up can.

daddy drove me home while he had to send bro to school and went for cg.
I came home with my hp left in the car -.-
bathed did xi zi till i almost fell asleep and went to buy dinner.
9pm show was gooddddd :D i like rui en leh. hahaa.

Wah tdy clara smsed us to meet up for smth very impt.

I felt good ytdy @ prayer meeting.
It reminded me strongly of dec prayer meetings.
I was so spiritually charged as i sat in HOG church.
And ytdy at RW, i sat down and prayed for the things written in my prayer book.
I focused, focused, as the top line of the book said pray consistently! haha.
Time was so fast. I wanted to pray more but the time came for corporate prayer.
Overall i was so encouraged to see so many working people, in formal clothes and all, coming for prayer meeting aft a long day of work.
Esp those in the morning also. wow, 6.30am.
Just woke up at that time lol.

I was inspired by Pst Zhuang ytdy.
i felt it was very realistic.
Like what he said, yeah i kinda got sick to those msges at the beginning of the year, motivating you, telling you it's your best year yet. like, sure. hahaha
But what pst said, get out of your tents!
Abram waited for 2 decades before God's promise to him came to pass.
I barely lived 2 decades, so who am I to complain?
I was glad i went (:
I felt good to be part of the 200 leaders in WYZ zone :D

Dk why so tired lo today. i think cos i reached home 10 plus ytdy ):
tdy morning my mom called me 3 times.

The week gone by pretty quickly..
Though I still feel that 2009's passing quite slowly.
Hahah, maybe things arent hastening up yet.

I think this week is the best week in 2009 so far (:
Indeed, this week was a breakthrough!

It was kinda upsetting that things had to happen @ home during this period of time, however to me, i felt it was a time of really letting go things.
And
To just enjoy life as it is.
Life as it comes.

A happy girl was I when mummy went with me to Bugis Street (first time she's shopping with me @ bugis strt!) to buy Denise's present.
Mummy bought me a birthday dress!
Yay i like it very muchh:D
It was a happy time cos like we went home with lotsa stuff.
stuff to wear, eat and all. haha.

picked my bro up @ tm and that was when i was told my hp stocks came in.
sigh, had to go back home to take my charger to trade in phone.
and the whole time i was pretty worried i wont be able to trade in cos my charger's slightly chipped and taking into account the phone sucks haha.
but yay! the woman came out with the new phone that i wanted and i was phew!
haha.
i was quite excited getting my new phone! Yay.
haha.

Friday was cca day!
cca was okay.
PT was much better than the prev one.
and I endured through it all! yay! haha.
then was shooting session.
I felt this was kinda like a breakthrough for me in terms of cca.
Tells me that being who I am, who God created, can actually be of an example to the rest.
It was like a mini appreciation kinda thing, just the opposite.
so yes, I was trembling when i talked. no idea why.
And even zoey knew I was busy with church during my dec hols O: haha.
I think the mere talk abt what I went thru doing the end year just made me tremble and teared.
But I'm glad it's all over (:
I believe our GB batch will be more bonded becos of this (:

I even blogged about it in wordpress or smth.
I was so impacted by the line, "For greater things have yet to come"
It's true that if you look at the song by itself, it has no link in it.
But to a person who's down, it definitely brings hope.
I remembered how i felt, what i thought, why i was so impacted, then.
and tears just rolled down my cheeks.
i flipped my sermon notebook to find that yellow paper.
it's been ages since i last saw its significance.
Sometimes, i feel as compared to early last year, I'm a completely diff person.
How now I laugh in disbelief of then.

Rushed home aftwards to prepare mom's bday dinner!
bro cooked cod fish and garlic prawns while i cooked mushroom soup.
Big bro cooked veg with clams while da sao cooked emperor chicken!
yum yum.
and i was quite scared about how my soup will turn out but it was actl quite good and everyone said was nice :D
first time cooking with a maid arnd to do as you order lol.
quite shuang feeling LOL. but wah she very hardworking, veh good.
and no more washing of ALOT of dishes! hehehe.

I was blown off by what Pastor shared ytdy!
Like, i really said out loud, Wow.
Before sermon even began, he proclaimed that a breakthrough will come this week. I somehow feel it's happening for me already, amazing!

Pastor shared about Chinese history and all..
yeah sounds boring.
haha for the first half an hour or so, it was.
people in front and beside me were nodding their heads constantly haha.
bascially cos it was more or less what he said last week haha.
but when it came to the second half, i was really open-mouthed.

He introduced to us Matteo Ricci.
This guy really has my admiration.
He is the guy that brought the West into China.
The knowledge and all. which includes religion, meaning Christianity!
so he was the guy who opened the doors of China to Heaven!
Although China in the beginning alr knew of a God since they worshipped Shang Di (our whole two week sermon was based on this).
But I feel this is like breaking new grounds. wow.

This is now the only wow thing.
To earn the Chinese respect, he dressed up as Confucius and Monks!
This was when Pst Kong said, "Holiness is not be worn, it is from the heart."
This line could very well be the change most 'religious' christians need to have!!
Not only this, Matteo Ricci also became the first Western advisor for the Chinese emperor.
He also led many many people to Christ. And not long aft he passed on, a quarter of Chinese's population, 200k became Christians (china wasnt that big then). Like, wow! I think christians dont even make up 1/4 of singapore's population now right lol.

The most wow thing was.
Matteo Ricci indirectly led Kang Xi, the great Chinese emperor, to Christ.
And Kang Xi's government many were also Christians.
KangXi wrote alot of shi1, songs for God!
And was all recorded.
He also allowed Christians to evangelise in China.
This resulted in a REVIVAL!
cool!

then on about the Chinese Rite Controversy..
To think those who discouraged and criticised Kang Xi and all were Christians!
Shame on them, they judged the Chinese and accused the Chinese of praying to other gods when all the did was to pay respect to their ancestors which is a tradition!

I met my 1st auntie (mom's side) guy cousin, qg, in CHC around early last year or so.
His girlfriend brought him!
I was so happy and yeahh!! one soul saved.
It was quite surprising cos i never expected it.
God works wonders yeah.
the most most surprising this is that, recently (last week cny) my cousin jiarong, mom's side uncle, told me he's in church!!!!!
this is the most amazing. Like omg.
totally unexpected can. I was so happy for the day.
Especially when my aunt is a staunch Buddhist.
Because nothing beats knowing of your relatives coming the Christ.
I believe he'll make a difference in his family! then bring my two other cousins, jieying and jiaxin, to church too!
I'm really gna at least invite one of them this year.
they are the closest to me!

hence i was stirred up in my soul.
to really see my relatives and family getting saved.
I believe!
God definitely has to purpose in my whole relative family now.
because all 5 families in my mom's family line. all has at least one Christian.
and the one Christians, the two guy cousins, are in my generation!
my generation shall rise up and change our future generations.

my phone died so i felt like a kampong person using the coin phone and blindly waiting for my dad who never came so i decided to make my own way home.
my card had 5 cents, i had 5 bucks. not that i dont have atm card now, heeeee. lol.
so i guess the only decent thing i could do was to take one ride home.
walking all the way back the the bus 12 bus stop was pretty scary at night haha some drunkard in front of me -.-

back home and the sudden craving for taiwanese crispy chicken and pudding milk tea from ehub took over me.
i wanted to reward myself for studying so much haha.
and having good self-discipline LOL self-praise haha!
so i dumped my bag at home and immediately walked to ehub.
haha yah i walked super fast partly cos i was mad at my parents for not keeping to their word abt picking me up. lol. under those circumstances, no money, no card money, no phone. pretty desperate yet my parents din come haha. but okay la.

my chicken and milk tea was good enough to make up my day.
idk why but i felt my weekend was very well spent and I'm proud of myself LOL.
and i'm really happy somehow.

But yup. My msia trip was fun (:
Especially with Nathan arnd!

Andand I finally made friends with my dad friends children!
ya so we played poker and the thought me poker!

cousins place was quite not like previous years.

so i came back with sore throat (partly eating too much keropok during visiting), cough, lots and phlegm and running nose with slight fever.
saw a doc in the aftnn.

Yes, finally a postttt!
haha. I guess I'm writing more in my diary nowadays.
Yup.

So last week was a much much more relaxed week as compared to the first official week of school.
I think i laugh alot in school everyday.
haha funfunfun. lol.
(grr, i think i cant rmb much of last week alr lol)
but yah, the highlight was FRIDAY!
haha.
WE ARE HAVING 22 JUNIORS OMGOMG THATS ALOT HAHAA.

PT was O: like never ending, crunches, vertical marathon, jumping jacks, etc.
But I thank God i endured through it. Yeah! (:
then walked to mrt with hannah and debra.
got high on the way hahaha funnyyyyy lol.

Went to ws to wait for parents but they werent there so early yet.
So i walked arnd and saw Jaycelyn, Zoey, Pearlyna and Germaine @ the hk cafe. haha was shocked cos hard to see them. Our coy tee blends with the chairs haha!
Went to library and decided to borrow a book (random lol) then cnt walking arnd.
Saw claudia (lol, gb people were everywhere haha) then went down again. Was bored so the 2nd time pearlyna said hi to me i went over and sat with them.
haha Yay i have nice seniors ^^V omg i cnt imagine them leaving grahhh!

parents came and we had dinner before they went off for cell while i went to central to get cakes.

Saturday was hm. not as rush as other sats la. But it's been a long time since i last walked frm mrt to isaac's house haha. we haven had cg in a long while!!

OMG it's one of the few sermons that i really really listen and was so so impacted by it!
The one line that I was impacted so greatly, "All authority is of God but not all authority is godly." this set me thinking about many things, the leaders over my life. and now every time I disrespect my leader or what, I'll always think of this. and immediately, I'll change my thinking. I have a new mindset now! wowowow.

good to finally see/talk to wenxi aft sooo longgg.
And yes aft i talked to her, millions of things ran through my mind since then.
she came over for dinner and so did dage, dasao and nathan!

We had a heartwarming (lol) lunch of my daddy's maggie mee.
My dad can make such a simple dish of noodle soup into so yummyy! haha.
Yes, our family's maggie mee can be quite nutritious cos my dad adds fishballs, porkballs, mince meat and egg. he'll sometimes add prawns, veggie and my da ge will add scallops. Lol!

I slept frm 2.30-6 O:
ya pig lol. I'll never forget when shawn called me a bloody pig cos i slept alot lol!

did A BIT of hw then we (my mommy and daddy and i) went to e!hub. my bro whole day go out sian-.-!
We went to eat the taiwan food. lol super random just walked in and ate.
the crispy chicken's good (yay)
then we went to the hong kong cafe for toast.
lol haha random again cos i had a craving for peanut butter thick toast. But the cafe's wasnt those thick peanut butter kind. it's those peanut sprinkled on top -.- but my daddy's french toast with honey was MMMMM :D

walked home! haha yaayyyy. I think my parents are awesome.
They're the people I'm run to whenever I'm sad or what.
Like last week when my schoolwork was so packed and problems came my way, i just poured them out to my mom. even though she doesnt give me much advice but her simple listening to my every word is good enough. then my dad is someone i always seek comfort frm when I'm down and out, when I'm breaking down, when I'm so fearful of what's ahead.
my brother is like plain nonsense and siao LOL haha. i know he'll read this haha.
and my first bro and family are simply loving! :D

Today I have this unidentified(lol) happiness in me.
hmmm, haha.
I guess y'know, a simple something made me enjoy those few minutes.
And realise I haven't been feeling this bouncy in a long while.
Yes, i think tiredness soaks through every syllable of my speech/expression.
When Shawn heard my voice over the phone ytdy he asked "tired ah" haha.

Went for BS in the morning.
Wah i think quite cool, haha.

Rushed to the CC for registration of the edusave scholarship award ceremony thinggg.
Sat the same row as claudia but she's right @ the other end ):
Shawn was sitting directly in front of me but many rows down.
I think my turn came very quick. unlike in p6. hahaa.
yes, the person didnt exactly pronounce my name nicely. haha.
and merl texted me when i came back to my seat, saying she saw me onstage.

So the whole time i was pretty much smsing Shawn, Claudia and Merl

haha no wonder time passed so fast lol.

Met up with Claudia outside aft the whole thing, then going down to pass my stuff to daddy.
Called merl and stood in front of the registration to chat awhile.
Shawn came by but he went for desserts or smth with his mom (:
At first merl had to rush for tp's open house.
So i was pretty sad we had to bid farewell aft really meeting/talking in months.
but she and i were walking in the same direction so she said she'll walk with me till the bus 12 stop further towards ehub. since i was going ehub to meet N377 and she had to take 12.

We started talking and all.
haha, merl, you're still shorter than me, aw! lolll.
all the way till the bus stop.. sat down and talked more.
HAHA AND HER CALL IN TO 933 FOR LOLLIPOP PHOTOTAKING SESSION WAS REALLY LOL !! still as crazy abt au quan as before, haha!
till her bus came ): then i left for ehub.

Wow. I really treasure those few minutes with her.
Sitting with her, waiting for the bus with her, really really felt like last time.
When we waited @ expo bus stop, Laughing Out Loud, going crazy, camwhoring, talking non stop..
When we waited @ expo bus stop, in the night aft sat svc, sharing my BK dinner with her, talking about serious matters and her sharing about certain people she's worried for..

Sometimes, it's just a few minutes or a few lines with certain best people in your life.
That somehow can make you stop and just be so absorbed in the company of them.

SURPRISINGLY, i was able to sleep leh!

I was reading through my blog archives and all the blog posts through blogger main cos i removed the archives part of my blog.
and there's this section where they put how many comments there are.
Because my blog has a tag board, so everybody tags instead of leaving comments.
and only my first skin had the comment button @ the bottom of the page while my other skins dont have.

I was looking through my 18june post:
It is more than what meets the eye.
Sometimes, I find my path taken really difficult.
Others had such an easy way to secondary school.
But I had a period of struggles and the most tormenting period of my life.
Crying at the sound of school was the norm for me.
It was a reallyreally difficult phase of my life.
And now when I look back,I do doubt if I had made the right decision.
It is really hard looking past those faces of disappointment on the people around me.
It seems like now, however good I do in school can never be compared to that particular school's standard.
Its really tough, really.I strive and try my best to excel in my studies.
But praises seldom come my way because they'll think
"Ah, ahs is too easy. You shld be scoring higher.

"I really pray to You, O God.As I strongly believe in my situation that You'll definitely use me in great ways for You.That Lord, Your placing me in this school has been your plan from the start.And Lord, in Your time, may I shine for You as salt and light of my campus.It is only through this focus, Father, that I may have the strength to carry on this journey.In Jesus name,Amen.

But i think because of the settings of the skin, i cannot seem to view it!
AND I WAS REALLY EAGER TO VIEW MY COMMENTS.
tho the two other comments on other posts were rubbish from unknown people.

I changed my skin to the normal blogger skin.

bcos i think if i saw it during that period of time.
I would have been lifted out of that valley upon seeing that.

I have a feeling it's someone I know.
haha, cos his/her profile was created in June 2008, the month of this particular post.
and when i viewed the profile it doesnt have any blog and the views were only like 4.
so maybe this someone purposely created a user to comment and encourage me.

2008 was the fastest year in my life YET.
haha. every year will get faster and faster.

Finally I ended 2008.
Hmmm, a year that i went through alot.
But as i look back, i'm kinda in awe of how i stood through it.
though many times i fell but God picked me up again and again (:

So spent the last day of 2008 @ home!!
Yay. haha wrapped my books too (:

then watched countdown!
super busy switching chnls cos both chnl 8 and 5 got countdown!!
ahhaa.
i was screaming when it was 12midnight and asked my dad to stand up with me and jump arnd LOL.

so my dad and i went to 24hr for supper lol.
quiet supper cos we both din talk.
then we walked to dte! just to check out the place and all.
the walk there was abt.. my future. hahaa.
just consulting my dad and all.
zomg,if i wna be a pyschiatrist i gotta study close to 10 years aft JC!!
oh manxzs.
Let's see what's God's road for me yeah!

the place was really LOUD haha.
and complicated lol so i din really like it.
but fun la just to see so many people.
